Your own ordering and loyalty app, not someone else’s marketplace

Delivery marketplaces bring orders, but they keep the customer relationship and take a share of every sale. Your own ordering, bookings and rewards put regulars back in touch with you directly. We help you decide which piece to build first and make it simple enough to use with one hand while queueing for a coffee.

01

What gets in the way

  • Commission on every marketplace order

Third-party apps take a cut of each order, and the diner’s details stay with the marketplace rather than with your venue.

  • A phone that rings during service

Staff stop mid-rush to take bookings and pickup orders by phone, then write them on a docket that can go missing.

  • Paper loyalty cards

Stamp cards get lost in wallets, and you cannot see who your regulars are or when someone has stopped coming in.

  • Menus that are out of date online

Specials, sold-out dishes and opening changes have to be updated in several places, and one of them is always behind.

A first version

What a first version usually includes

A typical starting point, not a fixed package. Your brief decides what goes in first and what can wait.

  • Order-ahead and pickup

Customers order and pay on their phone, pick a pickup window and get a notification when the order is ready at the counter.

  • Digital rewards

Stamps and rewards live in the app, so regulars never lose a card and you can thank them with an offer.

  • Table bookings

Diners book a table for a party size and a sitting, and the floor team sees the night’s covers in one list.

  • A menu you edit once

Change a dish or mark it sold out in one place, and the app and website update together.

The systems you already use

For example, many venues already take payments through Square or Lightspeed and keep their books in Xero. We check what your point-of-sale system allows and tell you whether orders from your app can flow straight into it.

Questions venues often ask

Do we need an app, or would a website work?

For many venues, an ordering website that works well on a phone is the right first step. An app makes most sense when rewards and repeat orders matter. We will recommend one and explain why.

Can we keep using the delivery marketplaces?

Yes. Plenty of venues keep them for reach and use their own ordering for regulars, who are often happy to order direct.

Will it work for more than one venue?

It can. Tell us about each location, its menu and its hours in the brief, and the plan will cover how they share or differ.

Who updates the menu and the specials?

Your team does, from a simple admin screen. We design it for the person who will actually use it on a busy day.

How is the cost worked out?

By what the first version needs to do. A person on our team reads your brief and quotes each phase, usually the same business day.

Tell us what would help your venue

Describe it in your own words. Someone on our team reviews it and replies with a clear quote and timeline, usually the same business day.
