Childcare and early learning
Families kept in the loop, and educators back on the floor
Centres spend a surprising part of the day on admin: sign-ins, waitlist calls, enrolment paperwork and updates to families. Parents want to know how their child’s day went. We build parent apps and centre tools that make the updates quick for educators and the admin lighter for directors.
01
What gets in the way
Waitlists in a spreadsheet
Enquiries, preferred days and sibling priority are tracked by hand, and families ring to ask where they stand.
Enrolment by paper form
Long enrolment packs are printed, filled in and typed up, and missing details are chased one by one.
Updates that take educators off the floor
Writing up meals, sleeps and activities takes time away from the children.
Permission slips that go missing
Excursion and medication forms are sent home in bags and do not always come back signed.
A first version
What a first version usually includes
A typical starting point, not a fixed package. Your brief decides what goes in first and what can wait.
A parent app
Families see daily updates, photos and messages from the room, and receive notices from the centre.
Online enrolment and waitlist
Families join the waitlist with their preferred days, then complete enrolment online when a place is offered.
Quick daily logging
Educators record meals, sleeps and nappy changes in a few taps on a room tablet.
Digital forms and permissions
Excursion, medication and consent forms are sent and signed in the app, with a record kept for the centre.
02
The systems you already use
For example, many centres already use Xplor, Storypark or Kidsoft for attendance and family communication. We check what your systems share and whether a custom piece would add something they do not.

Questions centre directors often ask
How are children’s photos and details protected?
We design for it from the start: each family sees only their own child, photos are shared by permission, and data is stored in Australia. We agree retention and access rules with you before building.
Does it replace our attendance and subsidy software?
Usually not. Most centres keep their existing system for attendance and subsidies, and add the parts that families and educators use every day.
Can it serve more than one centre?
Yes. Each centre keeps its own rooms and families, and the head office sees across them.
How do we get a price?
Send us a brief about your centre. A person on our team reviews it and quotes each phase, usually the same business day.
Tell us what would help your centre
Describe it in your own words. Someone on our team reviews it and replies with a clear quote and timeline, usually the same business day.
