Builders and construction

One record of every site, from the first slab to handover

A building job produces a constant stream of photos, notes, variations and calls, and most of it lives on phones and in email. When something is disputed months later, finding the record is hard. We build site and project tools that capture it once, keep clients informed and give the office a clear view of every job.

01

What gets in the way

  • Site diaries in notebooks

Daily notes, weather delays and deliveries are written down, if at all, and hard to find when they matter.

  • Variations agreed on the spot

A change is agreed with the client on site, and the paperwork and price follow much later, or not at all.

  • Clients asking how it is going

Homeowners want photos and progress, and the supervisor spends evenings answering messages.

  • Trades booked by phone

Subcontractors are lined up by calls and texts, and a delay at one stage ripples through the rest without anyone being told.

A first version

What a first version usually includes

A typical starting point, not a fixed package. Your brief decides what goes in first and what can wait.

  • A site diary app

Supervisors log notes, photos, deliveries and delays from site in a minute, tagged to the job and the stage.

  • Variations with sign-off

A variation is written up on a phone, priced from your rates and signed by the client before work goes ahead.

  • A client progress portal

Owners see stage updates and selected photos, which answers most questions before they are asked.

  • Trade scheduling

Book trades against stages, and when a stage moves, everyone affected gets the new date.

The systems you already use

For example, many builders use Buildxact, Procore or Databuild for estimating and projects, and Xero for accounts. We look at what you already rely on and build only the part that is missing.

Questions builders often ask

Will supervisors use an app on site?

If it is faster than a notebook, yes. We design for a phone in one hand, poor signal and dusty screens.

Can clients see everything we record?

No. You choose what is shared with the owner. Internal notes and pricing stay with your team.

Does it help if there is a dispute?

A dated record of notes, photos and signed variations makes it far easier to show what happened and when.

How do I find out the cost?

Send us a brief about your jobs and team. A person reviews it and quotes each phase, usually the same business day.

Tell us how your sites run

Describe it in your own words. Someone on our team reviews it and replies with a clear quote and timeline, usually the same business day.
